Frequently Asked questions
Format
On the first day your team will play in a division against a variety of teams, either in the morning or afternoon. Depending where you finish in the division determines what time you play on Sunday. If you finish in the top half of your division then you will play Sunday afternoon in the Cup Division. If you finish in the bottom half of your division on the Saturday then you will play Sunday morning in the Plate Division. This ensures teams are levelled on the Sunday. |
Accommodation
You can either book your own accommodation, or see our event information for packages including a Friday and Saturday night stay in a local hotel with breakfast. At previous tournaments, teams who have booked their own accommodation have booked a whole house, hotels, serviced apartments or even a holiday park caravan. This way you can control your budget and ensure you get accommodation to suit your weekend away. |
Timings
On the first day if you have to travel to the venue then you can request that you play in the afternoon session and subject to availability we will accommodate you. Likewise if you prefer to play in the morning, please let us know at the time of booking. Our tournaments usually start with registration at 9am for morning sessions. We always plan to finish by 5pm on the Saturday and slightly earlier on the Sunday. These times are always subject to how many teams enter. |
